The Heart Behind the Brand

Founded in 2022 by adventurers Janine Gowenlock and Jonathan Oliver, Overland Adventures was born from a shared love of the Australian outback and a desire to make remote experiences more accessible, comfortable, and unforgettable for everyone. Based in Broken Hill, NSW, our team brings together passion, experience, and a deep respect for Country and culture.

We don’t just take you somewhere—we bring you into the story of the land, its history, and its spirit.

What We Offer

Overland Adventures is more than a tour company. We specialise in hosted outback camping experiences that cater to first-time campers, seasoned travellers, music lovers, and everyone in between. Whether you're heading to the iconic Mundi Mundi Bash or planning a private escape under the stars, we’ve got everything covered—gear, guidance, and good vibes.

Our signature service is our Mundi Mundi Camping Experience, where we provide:

All-inclusive camping packages
Comfortable set-ups with quality gear
Transfers in and out of the festival
Local storytelling, history and cultural insights
A welcoming camp community for solo travellers, couples, and groups
